Pueblo Clowns are intriguing entities. They can cross barriers that the rest of society are not always "allowed" to do. Thus, their light and dark stripes symbolize life/death, night/day, male/female . . . etc. In this simple twisting of a dark and light rope, we are made to remember how it takes both sides of creation to make harmony.
